Winds of Change: ENABL's Takeaways & News following the WindEnergy Hamburg 2024
WindEnergy Hamburg concluded successfully. Discover ENABL's key takeaways, news and reflections from the event.
For some time, ENABL has worked for a customer on the assembly and installation of monopile production equipment. Tomasz Józef Piotrów functions as Mechanical Site Lead on the rotator assembly. Since March 2022, he has been coordinating the work with a supplier who is managing a large Polish contractor team, consisting of 10 electrical and mechanical technicians.
Tomasz coordinates with the Project Managers Martin Ør Clements and Rikke Kölbel Møller at a daily basis to make sure that the necessary assembly parts are available and to ensure that the number of assigned technicians is appropriate for securing the required progress.
“I like to meet new people and to organize work. I approach my tasks in a precise and profound way, and I use my experience from former jobs at Blaaholm and ENABL, assembling tower manufacturing equipment,” Tomasz says.
Tomasz works 10-hour shifts – from 6.00 am till 4.30 pm. He prepares the assembly workshop for the team and closes it down in the afternoon. By now, much of the work is in the finishing stage. Next, a lot of testing and software tasks are to be carried out before the rotators can be handed over to the customer.
